Isochem Colors was founded in 1990 by Bill Whisenant, a textile industry veteran who saw a need for a more specialized, service-oriented approach to chemical supply. From our humble beginnings in Charlotte, NC, we have maintained a hands-on approach that prioritizes technical results and manufacturer success.
What started as a domestic dyestuff supplier has grown into a trusted global partner for textile chemistry. Growing demand for Isochem’s textile chemistries helped drive the company’s expansion beyond North America, allowing the team to support manufacturers across Asia, Europe, South America, and other international markets. As the company expanded, Isochem Colors relocated to Rock Hill, South Carolina in 1994 and later established its current headquarters in Clover, South Carolina in 2010.
